EUROPEAN AGRICULTURAL FUND FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT: EUROPE INVESTS IN RURAL AREAS

Cooperativa Produttori Latte e Fontina s.c.a.r.l. benefited from the aid provided as per Measure 4 Submeasure 4.2 “support for investments in favour of the processing/marketing and/or development of agricultural products”.

The investments made were as follows:

1) Purchase of an automatic weight-pricing machine which has been installed at the St. Christophe site. This intervention made it possible to increase the production rate, improve the printing quality of the labels, have new international characters available and print new BARCODE GS1 DATABAR, QR_CODE AND DATAMATRIX;

2) Purchase and installation of a new system for recording and processing staff attendance. This system allows better and more efficient management, contributing to substantial reduction of resources and time for the management of the employees;

3) Purchase of stainless steel cans to transport milk; this material is ideal for the transport of milk, easily washable and sanitized, with undoubted benefits to the quality of the processed raw material.
